A monument sign is a low profile sign mounted on a brick structure or other such building material(provided by others) and is located somewhere on the property, usually close to the road for maximum visibility. This sign type is often used in situations that have height restrictions due to zoning laws. Most generally, it is a lighted sign and is usually a painted aluminum cabinet with a painted plastic or aluminum face that can be lighted by fluorescent lamps. Monument structures can be used for Channel Letter signs or non-lighted signs as well as for lighted signs.
